Zuriñe Irusta Ortega mainly works on Belgian and European regulatory law, including public procurement and competition law.
Zuriñe holds an LLM in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges (2020-2021). She also holds a bachelor’s degree in law (2015-2018) and a master's degree in European law from the Université catholique de Louvain (2018-2020). During her studies, she also studied one semester abroad in the frame of an Erasmus exchange at the Università degli studi di Bologna (2020).
After her studies, she completed a “Blue Book” traineeship at the European Commission, Directorate-General of Justice, and at the General Court of the EU in the Spanish judge’s cabinet, Mr. judge Sampol Pucurull.
Zuriñe started her career as a lawyer in September 2022, as an associate at & DE BANDT.
