On 21 October 2022, the Belgian Competition Authority published an amicus curiae regarding exclusive sponsorships for competitions organised by the Royal Belgian Billiards Association. The amicus curiae provides a framework for analysing exclusive sponsorships in sporting competitions in Belgium, both from an Article 101 and Article 102 TFEU perspective.
