
Peter Teerlinck focuses on Belgian and European public procurement law, and commercial law. He is a member of the Brussels Bar.
His broad practice and experience cover complex litigation in the area of public procurement, and national and international business litigation. He assists companies with drafting general commercial contracts, particularly distribution agreements. Public authorities and companies can call on him to draft their tenders and offers, respectively, as well as for legal assistance in the administrative or civil courts in case of a dispute.
His clients include multinational firms, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises and public authorities of different sizes. They can all count on tailor-made advice and a personalised legal defence.
Peter has published numerous legal articles concerning public procurement law and competition law. He regularly lectures on national and European aspects of public procurement law.
Peter studied law in Namur and at the Catholic University of Leuven (1986-1991), and obtained a postgraduate degree in European law at the University of Brussels' Institut de Droit Européen (1992). He began his career as a lawyer in 1992 with the law firm Schuermans & Schuermans, where he became partner in 2001. He became a partner at & DE BANDT in July 2010.
