Victoria Heinen mainly focuses on Belgian and European regulatory law, with a special focus on competition law, state aid law, internal market legislation and the regulated markets and industries.
She holds an LL.M in Competition, Innovation and Trade Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2018-2019), and a Law Degree from the Université catholique de Louvain and the Université Saint-Louis-Bruxelles (2012-2017). During her studies, she spent a semester at the University of Vienna as part of an exchange program (2017).
Victoria began her career as a lawyer in 2019 in the competition law department at Linklaters. Prior to that, she interned with the legal department of Euroclear as well as at the Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP) of the European Commission, where she also spent a year as a civil servant (2024) before resuming her career as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar.
